Tasluja corridor is the gateway to Sulimaniyah city in Kurdistan, Iraq and is conceived as a major regional business, commercial , residential and tourism district. The 15 Km. masterplan creates a modern entrance with multi uses including a new Financial Trading Centre within a mixed-use and high-density city centre environment. The masterplan resolves a number of challenges related to transport, community facilities and public realm. The masterplan allows for different parts of the corridor to develop their own sense of identity and promotes a vibrant mixed-use community with a pedestrian friendly streetscape. A network of pedestrian links promotes walkability. This is serviced by an integrated transit system featuring the latest tram and over ground rail links along side an extensive bus network.
